Emily Dickinson Had Only A Couple Of Poems Published As She Would Have Preferred Her Poems As Sort Of Private Gifts Meant For Family And Friends Mostly.
It Was Only After Her Death In 1886 That Her Innumerable Poems Numbering Nearly 1800 Were Found And Collected For Publication And That Met With Good Appreciations , If Not Critical Acclaim.

But, Emily Was Destined To Be A Great Poet And It Started Gaining Currency Around Late 40s n Early 50s Of The Last Century.And, Since Then, Emily Has Been On Ascent !
Today Emily Dickinson Is Celebrated As One Of The Greatest Poets Of All Time !
Also, She, Through Her Poems n Letters, Has Sort Of Gained CULT STATUS !
