As Per The Presidential Announcement Of A Dialogue With The Opposition Members Slated For Yesterday(Saturday) Is Concerned, There Was Not Any Such Comprehensive Talks Reported So Far !
The Various Opposition Groups Unified Under The Umbrella Of 'National Salvation Front' Led By The Three Well Recognized Figures,namely, Muhammed El-bardei, Amr Moussa And Hamadeen Sabahi , Has Bycotted Any Such Dialogue With Mr. Morsi Till Morsi Revokes His Decree And Postpones The Referendum !
Initially, Morsi Appeared Adamant Over Such Pre-Conditions And Had Instead Some Sort Of Concessions In Way Of Preponement Of His Decree! Morsi Had Outlined Last Month, When He Took To Himself Extraordinary Powers, That His Powers Would Come To The Normal Level After The Making Of The Constitution And The Election Of The Parliament.But, Now He Reportedly Said He Would Drawdown His Powers After The Plebiscite Itself, Irrespective Of Its Ayes Or Nays !
Morsi,however,didn't show any willingness of any deferrment of the date of the Plebiscite !
As Per The Al-Ahram News, Mr. Morsi Also Hinted That He Might Go For Martial-Rule Given The Present Scenario Full Of Political Divisions , Clashes And Bloodsheds ! Morsi's Such Hint Is Symbolic Of His Helplessness And Failures In Matters Largely Political !
Given Such Prop, The Armed Forces That Had Its Hey Day During Post Mubarak Era Till This Year's Election In June, Has Posted A Brief On Some State News Sites Telling Its Importance In Matters n Times Of National Crisis And Its Onus To Rein In Civil-Unrests Plus General Upheavals Of National Implications. The Armed Forces,However, Also Cautioned The People And Politicians That There's Only One Way Out Of The Crisis : Dialogue ! It Said If Any Other Medium Be Resorted To Salvage The Present Conundrum, Egypt Will Slide Into A 'DARK TUNNEL' !
Just A Few Hours Ago Reports In Al-Arabiya English Suggest That Muhammed Morsi Expressed His Desire To Postpone The December 15 Referendum Date ! This Is Contrary To The Earlier Report !
So , Now Morsi Has Accepted The Main Demands Of The Oppositions : Changes In The Draft Constitution n The Postponement Of The Referendum Date !
It Will Be Clearer After Sometime Whether The National Salvation Front Is Going To Yield Now And Enter Into Negotiations For A Consensus,if any for the time being,at least ! !
