INDIA CELEBRATED ITS 67th BIRTHDAY !
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
It was raining in most parts of
India at the dawn of its 67th
Independence Day on 15 August
2013 and the clouds becoming
darker, people felt dampen and a
mood of despair was to set
soon. . . .but, the sky understood
the importance of the occasion
and there was sunshine quickly !
People celebrated the 67th
birthday of modern india with
gaiety and fervor and took the
customary pledge to protect their
motherland and would
contribute to the cause of this
nation !
The indian premier, Mr.
Manmohan Singh, spoke about
the progress this nation has
witnessed during the ten years
of his leadership.He sounded
hollow plus nonsense! He never
talked of the largest,rather the
greatest malady this nation has
suffered under his inert plus
puppet-like leadership! He spoke
only the promises his
government has been harping
on n on !
On the whole the premier’s
speech was a grand shit apt to
be thrown into some dustbin !
India’s Progress In The Last
66yrs. Of Its Independence
Stands Pale Before The Glaring
Failures !
And, Hope Is The Most Abused
Word In The Lexicon of This
Nation !
‘HOPING AGAINST HOPE’ MIGHT BE

Lying in me, as though it were a
white
Stone in the depths of a well, is
one
Memory that I cannot, will not,
fight:
It is happiness, and it is pain.
Anyone looking straight into my
eyes
Could not help seeing it, and
could not fail
To become thoughtful, more sad
and quiet
Than if he were listening to some
tragic tale.
I know the gods changed people
into things,
Leaving their consciousness alive
and free.
To keep alive the wonder of
suffering,
You have been metamorphosed

And the stone word fell
On my still-living breast.
Never mind, I was ready.
I will manage somehow.
Today I have so much to do:
I must kill memory once and for
all,
I must turn my soul to stone,
I must learn to live again--
Unless . . . Summer's ardent
rustling
Is like a festival outside my
window.
For a long time I've foreseen this
Brilliant day, deserted house.
