KARL MARX, One of the most influential men of modern world, was born this day, May 05, 1818 in Trier, West Germany into a Jewish family who later got converted to Christianity for practical reasons making it easy to follow legal profession(Marx's father was a lawyer) in an anti-jewish Prussia !
Studing Law at Bonne and Berlin,Karl Marx being an extraordinary student,wrote his doctoral thesis at the age of 23 and the subject he chose was philosophy as he, in early life, was highly impressed with philosophers like Democritus, Epicurus , Hegel , Feuerbach . . . .et.al !
Marx became a journalist and quickly launched himself as diehard radical that had posed problems for him and that led him to Paris where he met and befriended his would-be benefactor,companion,editor,friend - all rounded up in one, FREDERICH ENGELS !
Marx participated in the German Revolution of 1848 and post its failure,moved to London where he had lived his rest of life untill death in 1883 !
