TODAY MARKS THE 150-TH BIRTH-
ANNIVERSARY OF SWAMI
VIVEKANANDA,ONE OF THE MOST
INFLUENTIAL PUBLIC FIGURES OF
MODERN INDIA.
Born on january 12,1863 in a
relatively well-off family in
Calcutta(then the capital of India),
swami vivekananda later became
probably the best known public
figure from India at world level
during the 90s of the 19th-
century,especially,post Chicago’s
PARLIAMENT OF WORLD’S
RELIGIONS in 1893 that Swamijee
had attended and received
unexpected glory n renown in
America after a series of lectures
he delivered in that parliament!
Vivekananda was a pragmatist
and had tried his best to
internalize and then promulgate
the very essence of Religion,God
and Human Existence through
his countless lectures,one-to-one
talks,innumerable tours that he
embarked upon inside n outside
of India.
His messages are all for
humanity,peace n harmony.
Through a selfless service to his
nation through various missions
aimed at eradication of
poverty,illiteracy and
superstitious practises,Swamijee
Still Inspire Limitlessly !
His birthday is celebrated in India
as National Youth Day.
Swamijee lived for merely
39yrs,yet,due to his indomitable
courage and reservoir of
energy,he had caused
tremendous changes in the way
people viewed
religion,spirituality,patriotism,
universal
fraternity,love,amity,peace et.al !
Desciple of an illiterate,yet,highly
wise guru,RAMKRISHNA,
Swamijee had shown the power
plus the charisma of leading a
pure n selfless life meant for the
humanity at large!
He brought a rather newer
perspective of what we might
call now, ‘COMPARITIVE
RELIGIONS’, by his thrust on
studying both Eastern n Western
Religions Plus Philosophies In
Order To Form An Unbiased
View!

Importance In Order To Shake
Off The Foreign Yoke And Attain
